Adults only

M IN is for people aged 18 and over. Everyone must enter their date of birth before they can use an account, and anyone under 18 is refused. On Google Play the app is also restricted for users Google has identified as minors. Accounts we find belong to a minor are closed.

What is prohibited

On M IN you must never create, share, request, store or link to:

• child sexual abuse material of any kind, including drawn, edited or AI-generated material;
• any sexualised content involving a minor, or content that sexualises children;
• grooming: contacting, befriending or manipulating a minor with the aim of sexual contact or exploitation;
• sextortion, trafficking, or arranging to meet a minor;
• anything else that harms, endangers or exploits a child.

This applies everywhere in the app: profiles, photos, plans, plan chats and private messages.

How we prevent and detect it

• An 18+ age check on every account, and one account per person.
• Profile photos, cover photos and plan photos are automatically screened before anyone else sees them, and sexual or explicit images are refused.
• Anyone can report a profile, plan, message or chat in two taps. A report of a chat attaches the reporter's own readable copy of recent messages, so a trained reviewer can act on it.
• Reports involving a child are reviewed first, ahead of every other report.

How to report

• In the app: use the three-dots menu on any profile, plan or chat, or long-press a message, and choose Report. The person you report is not told who reported them.
• By email: support@sayim.in, with "Child safety" in the subject.
• If a child is in immediate danger in India, call 112, or the Childline number 1098. You can also report online to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in.

What we do when it is reported

• We remove the content as soon as we confirm it, and within 24 hours of a report at the latest.
• We permanently ban the account, and block it from creating a new one.
• We preserve the relevant records for law enforcement, as the law requires.

Working with authorities

We report apparent child sexual abuse material and child exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States and the appropriate authorities in India under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. We comply with lawful requests from law enforcement.
